It is never too old to learn. 活到老, 学到老。 It is easier to fall than to rise. 摔倒容易爬起来难。 It is no use crying over spilt milk. 覆水难收。 Review the usage of it: It 作代词,形式主语,形式宾语 1.Read the proverbs to translate and remember them and find the usage of it. 2.Review the usage of it. 常用习语复习It 的用法,观察在句中的作用,总结复习It用法,激活知识储备,为接下的强调句讲解做铺垫。 Step 2: Grammar 1.Summarize the use of emphatic sentence 1)结构:It is(was)+被强调部分+ that (who)+其余部分. 2)用法:强调句可强调主语,宾语,状语(不可强调谓语) 引导词有that,who,whom Be 动词用is,was 用it 强调句改写句子 Lucy saw Jack on the street yesterday. Eg:It was Lucy that /who saw Jack on the street yesterday.(强调主语) It was Jack that /who/ whom Lucy saw on the street yesterday. (强调宾语) It was on the street that Lucy saw Jack yesterday. (强调地点状语) It was yesterday that Lucy saw Jack on the street.(强调时间状语) 总结:去掉It is/ was... that ,句意完整。 5)Read the sentences and decide which part the sentence emphasizes. 2.Read and underline. 1)Read and underline emphatic sentence in task15 by themselves. 2)Ask some students to check answers,then tell which part the sentence emphasizes and why the sentence has it, but isn’t emphatic sentence. 3.Read and complete. Use the right form of be and connective to complete and finish task 16.Ask some students to check answers and explain the reason why they use them.Then rewrite the sentence in the common sentence.
