课 题 Unit7 Invention and Innovation (Culture Understanding& Group Work) 课 型 Culture Understanding and Group Work 课 时 1 授课班级 授课时间 45mins 授课教师 教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育-出卷网-出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语2 基础模块》中第七单元的Culture Understanding and Group Work板块,要求学生拓展阅读,按时间顺序介绍对世界影响极大的伟大发明,让学生感知发明源于人类生存的需求,是人类文明进步的表现,形成对发明创新的正确认识。小组活动为新品发布会制作海报,通过产品功能介绍,找到潜在客户群体,制作出有吸引力的宣传海报,发挥团队合作精神,运用本单元所学的科技表达和并列句句型,培养解决实际问题的能力。 学情分析 学生对科技发展,新产品功能介绍的相关表达在前几节课也有积累,本节学习进一步拓展不同时代的发明,讨论激发人类发明的原因,学习和发扬解决实际问题的创新精神。机器人这一话题比较熟悉,新冠疫情期间的nursing robots 发挥了极大的作用,floor-sweeping robots 也已进入我们的日常生活,但如何找到潜在顾客群体、针对性制作海报,还需教师引导、小组合作,调动个人优势,共同解决。 学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To grasp the following:promote,fundamentally,movie with sound,nylon To be able to know about spirits which encouraged people to make inventions. Ability objectives: To know the inventions in different times. To be able to design a poster for a new product. Emotional objectives: To enhance the national pride. Discuss the inventions and express own idea about these inventions. 用轮子和中国古代四大发明为讨论话题,复习有关发明创造的表达,激发学习兴趣,为接下来的文本材料阅读做准备。 Step 2: Culture Understanding Read the text and learn some words and phrases:promote,fundamentally,movie with sound,nylon 2.Read the article to answer:what encouraged people to make inventions 3.Work in group to fill in time line with the invention at that time.
