Task10 Read and tick. Heal the World   I always think about my childhood experiences. I would visit a stream next to our home to get water for my mother. I would drink water straight from the stream. I would play with the fallen flowers in the stream. And I would try to touch all kinds of fish. But every time I put my little fingers under them, they would go away. Later, I saw thousands of young fish swimming through the clear water against the background of the brown earth. This is the world I received from my parents. Today, over 50 years later, the stream has dried up. Women walk long distances for water, which is not always clean, and children don’t even know what they have lost. It was not until now that I realized the importance of protecting the environment. Task10 Read and tick. Heal the World   It’s time we took action for future generations! We should save water and make the best use of it. At the same time, trees should be planted as many as possible. What’s more, we can always go green by carrying our cloth bags while shopping and taking public transportation or shared bikes while moving around.
