课 题 Unit 8 Making a Career Plan (Listening and Speaking) 课 型 Listening and Speaking 课 时 2 授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师 教材分析 本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第八单元“Making a Career Plan”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以职业选择和职业咨询为主题,共有四个短对话和两个长对话听力活动以及两个口头交际活动。该板块教学内容要求在讨论职业选择和规划的语境中,学生能够听懂职业选择和规划的对话,填写职业咨询信息表;熟悉描述职业变化和咨询的表达,口头简要咨询职业规划和前景;并能够向同伴介绍自己的职业规划,为就业做出努力。 学情分析 职业选择和规划是学生终身都要面临的话题。本单元是上一单元的扩展和延续,即职业规划。学生在上一单元中学习过职业选择的话题,对于求职的流程和个人基本情况介绍等要素可进行迁移应用,如speak English fluently、be good at和communicate with people等词块以及“What is your advantage ”和“What qualifications do you have ”等句型。学生只有在了解自己的基础上才能更好地选择和规划职业。但学生对于职业选择和规划等内容认知尚浅,对自己的认识存在不足,且对未来的规划并不清晰。同时,学生存在话题词汇量小、句式基本结构使用混乱等语言知识问题,听力过程中的策略运用较弱,听取的是不成意群的少量文本内容,对听力内容深入理解有困难;口语上有表达的诉求,但在表达某一观点时,会受汉语语境影响,存在英文输出不够准确的问题,因而教师在课堂上通过模拟职业咨询的方式,由易及难,先让学生从了解自己入手,同时注重话题词汇归类总结,提高表达的准确性,最后帮助学生完成职业咨询和阐述自己职业规划内容的对话。 学习目标 Knowledge objective Master the useful expressions about job goals and plans. Ability objectives Be able to understand talks about goals and plans; Be able to ask for and give information about career choices and counseling(咨询).
