What direction are they from China 教学难点： 激发学生的学习情趣。 运用所学知识介绍英语在世界各地的使用情况。 教学过程 Step 1: Review Show a map of the world to the students and ask: What country is it What language do people speak in this country What direction is it from China 意图：通过这个过程，同学们既复习了本单元各个国家的情况，同时复习了方向，为下 面新课做铺垫。 Step2:lead-in Point at the map and say: These countries are English-speaking countries. Do you know in what countries people speak English as their first language in the world 意图：直接导入新课。 Step3: Presentation Teach the new words and phrases .
