Use the ideas below to help you. Think of an attractive name for your product. Who the target users are When you design a product, you should first think about the target users’ age, sex, habits and hobbies. For example, when you design it for a child, it should have bright colors. You can use cartoon figure to decorate it. How it looks The product must be easy to hold. It can be designed depending on what your inspiration comes from. For example, you can design it into a shape of a frog, if you expect your product to work freely in a pool. What functions/applications it has When people use it Where people use it How people use it Read the sample in Part C on Page 55 to learn how to give an attractive introduction to a product and answer the following questions. 1. What’s the appearance, target users and function of InstaTrip watch The InstaTrip watch is a watch with a state-of-the-art touchscreen and a virtual three-D globe that can transport people to a far distant land instantly just by touching a few buttons. Once you choose your destination, built-in sensors map your body and the latest transport technology takes you there in an instant. The watch has designs for different ages, genders and occasions. 2. How does the author make the product description attractive The author makes the product description very attractive by creating a slogan in the title and using pictures of a beautiful seaside scene and a person operating the watch. Besides, the words also encourage readers to imagine the amazing functions of the watch. As a group, put together your information to make an introduction to your product.
