教学设计 教学内容 Unit10 I'd like some noodles Section B (2a--2c) 课型 阅读课 课标要求 《初中英语新课程标准》要求学生能读懂简单故事和短文并抓住大意，本节课的话题是《初中英语新课程标准》话题中的“风俗习惯”。根据话题，对学生的要求是：能读懂简单的故事和短文并抓住大意；能用所给提示简单描述一件事情。 教材（内容）解析 本单元主要讲对食物的喜好与选择，整个单元共分为五课时。本节课为本单元的第三课时，是一节阅读课。 本单元涉及的食物词汇在七年级上已经学习过。在本单元的前三课时又进行了词汇的巩固与扩展，句型的学习与使用。本节课的阅读内容为中西方生日食物的不同，涉及到了中西方文化的差异。因此，本节课教师在训练学生通过阅读获得信息的基础上，将以生日食物为切入点，帮助学生了解不同国家的生日文化，对学生进行文化差异与饮食习惯的熏陶，扩大学生的知识面，提高他们的语言表达能力和英语学习兴趣。 本节课进行阅读能力训练，以及以小组为单位进行report, poster成果展示。 学情分析 1.自然情况：我校是一所乡镇学校。学生的英语基础薄弱，英语词汇量少，大多数孩子没有达到小学毕业所要求的英语二级目标。经过近一年的学习，学生词汇量有了小幅增加（初一的重点词汇与小学阶段所要求的词汇有部分重合），句型的掌握更加丰富，阅读能力有了显著提高。大多数学生上课乐于表现，尤其是对话和以小组合作方式进行的表演。2. 知识储备：对本单元中关于食物的词汇，学生已经在七上unit 6进行了学习与巩固，对生日的话题也并不陌生，但是对各国不同的生日文化了解的不多。本节课通过阅读帮助学生了解不同国家生日的食品以及背后的文化，旨在拓展学生的视野，丰富学生的生日文化。 教学目标 1.To master new words and phrases as follow: around the world,blow out,make a wish,cut up,bring good luck to.... 2. To grasp some reading skills such as skimming andscanning to get the main idea and get more detailed information 3.Use the mind map to retell the text. 4.Develop their abilities of analysis and summary.5.Promote the development of pluralistic thinking. 6. Get to know about different birthday food in different countries.7.
