Unit 2 Wildlife Protection Listening and Talking教案 教材分析： 本单元主题是保护野生动物，前几节可已经大致了解了野生动物的生存现状和未来。本节课为听说课，主要内容是围绕保护野生动物这一主题进行对应听力理解练习，了解同辈为保护野生动物做出的努力，并根据保护身边的野生动物提出自己的看法，本课时的重点表达方式在于如to do sth, in order to do sth, so that等表示“目的”的表达方式，本课的重点句型是关于目的表达的句型，如：this is used for…; I did it in order to…等。本课时的价值取向在于了解野生动物的相关问题和提供解决办法，提高对身边野生动物的关注，增强责任意识，保护动物从身边做起。 教学策略与设计说明： 采用听说法(audio lingual teaching)，在不断的重复和操练中，让学生熟悉相关的单词用法。 采用情境教学法(Situational teaching method), 借助多媒体设备，创设保护野生动物的主题情境，引导学生进入情境，在情境中完成教学。 教学目标： 在本节课学习结束时，学生能够： 语言能力上，学习掌握观察鸟类的相关词汇，如 binoculars, bird feeder, bird field guide；学习表示“目的”的表达方式，如to do sth., in order to do sth., so that等。基本就保护野生动物这一话题展开讨论并运用本单元已学内容。 思维品质上，拓宽学生视野，在学习过程中了解到野生动物的现状及我们能够提供的帮助，积极思考帮助身边野生动物的方法。增强责任意识，向材料中保护野生动物的榜样学习。 文化意识上，通过了解流浪动物的问题和提供解决办法，提高对身边野生动物的关注，保护动物从身边做起。 学习能力上，提高对保护野生动物这一话题的听力理解能力和表达技巧；掌握提建议和表达目的的技巧。 教学重点： 学习掌握观察鸟类的相关词汇，如 binoculars, bird feeder, bird field guide；学习表“目的”的表达方式，如to do sth, in order to do sth, so that等。基本就保护野生动物这一话题展开简单的讨论。 教学难点： 通过了解流浪动物的问题和提供解决办法，提高对身边野生动物的关注，提高对保护野生动物这一话题的听力理解能力和表达技巧。 教学资源： 教材、多媒体课件、黑板与粉笔。 教学过程： 步骤 教学活动 设计意图 时间与模式 Step 1 Lead-in: T asks Ss whether they know any endangered birds. T can introduce some endangered birds to Ss such as dicaeum quadrcolor and thalasseus bernsteini. Linking to what Ss have learnt, T asks Ss why some kinds of birds are endangered. T leads Ss to think about the question from several aspects like habitat, pollution, food chain and so on T asks how can we protect birds, Ss discuss in pairs. .
