Ss learn the project: The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou. Aa co-host city, Wenzhou also attract a lot of foreingers’ eyes. Your friend Tony plans to take a trip in Wenzhou for three days. Please design a travel guide brochure for him based on your travelling experiences, which includes scenic spots, travel route, delicious local food, travel tips and so on. Ss discuss how to make a travel guide brochure Ss discuss and share their ideas: travel spots, travel route, local food and travel tips.Observe if students understand the project.Observe if students can share their ideas about how to make a travel guide brochure. If not, show some examples with pictures which can help them understand what a brochure is. Purpose: To share the project at the beginning of the class, ss will have a clear mind about what they are going to do in this class.
