教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 英语 年级 八年级 学期 春季 课题 Module 1 Feelings and impressions Unit 2 I feel nervous when I speak Chinese. 教学目标 在本课结束时,学生能够: 1. 通过阅读邮件,复习邮件的基本格式,获取收发件人、主题等信息。 2. 通过阅读文中玲玲外貌描写的段落,学会从身高、体型、头发、五官、穿戴等方面描写个人外貌。 3. 通过阅读,总结玲玲描述爱好的表达,并尝试描述自己的多种爱好。 4. 通过阅读和和口语练习,运用感官动词,表达自己的感受。 教学内容 教学重点: 1. 学会从身高、体型、头发、五官、穿戴等方面描写个人外貌。 2. 运用感官动词,表达自己的感受。 教学难点: 1.理解玲玲的感受,推测出她的性格。 2.结合玲玲的邮件,总结自我介绍的几个方面:外貌、爱好、性格,并尝试介绍自己。 教学过程 Step 1: Free talk Activity1: Greeting Activity2: Teacher: I feel happy to meet you in this way. But I feel a bit nervous when I give the online lesson. How did you feel when you have an online class I feel... when I have an online class. Step2. Before reading Activity3: Imagine you are going to meet your pen friend, how will you fee Teacher show the pictures of Lingling and Sally, :They are pen friends. They are going to meet each other. How may they feel Step3: While reading Activity 4: Fast reading: Read and answer: Who wrote the email Whom did Sally write the email to Why did Sally write the email How did Sally feel about going to meet her pen friend Design purpose: Help the students learn the basic information of the email including the sender (from), the recipient (to) and the subject, before we read the body. Read for main idea T:Sally wrote this email to reply Linging’s last email. What may Lingling want to know about her What questions may she ask in her last email Question1: What do you look like Question2:What are your hobbies Question3: How do you feel about coming to China Design purpose: Help the students get the main idea of each paragraph by finding key sentences and giving questions. Activity5: Detailed reading Q1: What do you look like Read paragraph2 and find Sally’s picture Summarize how Sally introduce herself. Say what Lingling may describe herself in her last email Q2: What are your hobbies Ask and answer about the hobbies: 1) How many hobbies does Sally have What are they Do they have the same hobby If yes, what is it Summarize how Sally introduce her hobbies. Deep thinking: Why did Sally mention her brother in Para3 What may Sally think of her brother? What may Sally feel when she says: “He’s good at everything, but I’m not.” If you were Lingling, what would you say to her Design purpose: Help the students know how to describe themselves, and learn different ways to introduce more than one hobby. Besides, students try to understand Lingling’s feelings and try to encourage her so that they can develop their thinking ability.
