But I feel a bit nervous when I give the online lesson. How did you feel when you have an online class I feel... when I have an online class. Step2. Before reading Activity3: Imagine you are going to meet your pen friend, how will you fee Teacher show the pictures of Lingling and Sally, :They are pen friends. They are going to meet each other. How may they feel Step3: While reading Activity 4: Fast reading: Read and answer: Who wrote the email Whom did Sally write the email to Why did Sally write the email How did Sally feel about going to meet her pen friend Design purpose: Help the students learn the basic information of the email including the sender (from), the recipient (to) and the subject, before we read the body. Read for main idea T:Sally wrote this email to reply Linging’s last email. What may Lingling want to know about her What questions may she ask in her last email Question1: What do you look like Question2:What are your hobbies Question3: How do you feel about coming to China Design purpose: Help the students get the main idea of each paragraph by finding key sentences and giving questions. Activity5: Detailed reading Q1: What do you look like Read paragraph2 and find Sally’s picture Summarize how Sally introduce herself.
