课件网) Grammar & Usage 详解课件 新译林2020版 选必四 Unit1 Honesty and responsibility 复习状语从句 状语从句 时间 地点 原因 目的 结果 条件 让步 方式 比较 在复合句中, 作状语成分的从句叫做状语从句。它的主要语法作用是修饰主句谓语动词。一般分为9种(见下图)。状语从句由从属连词引导, 有时候还可以用其他词组引导。 一、时间状语从句 常用引导词：when, as, while, as soon as, before, after, since, till, until 特殊引导词：the minute, the moment, the second, every time, the day, the instant, immediately, directly, no sooner... than, hardly/scarcely... when No sooner had I arrived home than it began to rain. 我一到家就开始下雨了。 While John was watching TV, his wife was cooking. 约翰在看电视时，他的妻子正在做饭。 连接词类别 作 用 例 句 as as “当……的时候”同时发生 1.She came up as I was cooking.（同时） 2.The runners started as the gun went off.（几乎同时） when when可以和延续性动词连用，也可以和短暂性动词连用； 1.When we were at school, we went to the library every day.（在一段时间内） 2.Sorry，I was out when you called me．（call为短暂性动词）对不起，你打电话时我刚好外出了。 3. When I got to the airport，the guests had left．（got to后发生）当我赶到飞机场时，客人们已经离开了。 while while 意思是“当……的时候”或“在某一段时间里”。 从句动作和主句动作同时发生，且从句动作为延续性动词时。 1.When ／While ／As we were dancing，a stranger came in．（dance为延续性动词）。 2.Please don’t talk so loud while others are working. 1.One Friday, we were packing to leave for a weekend away ___ my daughter heard cries for help. A. after B. while C. since D. when 答案：D 解析：句意为——— 星期五那天，当我们正准备出发去过周末的时候，我的女儿听到有人叫救。易混淆：在while和when这里犹豫。 对比： 2. I had just stepped out of the bathroom and was busily drying myself with a towel ____ I heard the steps. A. while B. when C. since D. after 答案： B 解析：下划线处表示 “正在这时， 突然……”， 四个选项中只有when可以表示此含义。 2.before和since引导的时间状语从句 连词 词义 常用句式 before 在……之前；还没有来得及……就……； 趁着……；……才…… ①It will be/was＋一段时间＋before... 要过/过了……时间才…… ②It won’t be＋一段时间＋before...过不了多久就会…… ③It wasn’t＋一段时间＋before...没过多久就……了 since 自从……以来 It is/has been＋一段时间＋since从句(从句用一般过去时) 3.till/until引导的时间状语从句 (1)until/till用于肯定句时，其主句谓语动词为延续性动词； (2)not...until/till...所在的主句的谓语动词为非延续性动词； (3)until可用于句首，而till不能； (4)not until 置于句首，主句要用部分倒装； (5)it is/was not until...that...强调句型。 ” ” As far as I know，his mother won’t go to bed until he returns home every evening. ＝As far as I know，not until he returns home every evening will his mother go to bed. ＝As far as I know，it is not until he returns home every evening that his mother will go to bed. 据我所知，他母亲每晚直到他回家才会上床睡觉。 4.表示“一……就……”的连词引导的时间状语从句 (1)as soon as，the moment/minut ... ...
