Unit 5 What an adventure! Many would become sick, due to the extreme cold and low air pressure, and a few would even lose their lives. (Para1)Mallory would die on the mountain in 1924, although his body would not be found until many years later. (Para 2)In 2011, words similar to those of Mallory were spoken by American mountain climber Alan Arnette, who climbed Qomolangma in that year and was going to climb other high mountains around the world. (Para 3)引导学生自己观察粗体部分,初步发现过去将来时的形式和含义。Step2 Discovering the rules.Past Future.1. 过去将来时表示从过去某一时间看将要发生的动作或存在的状态。2. 表示过去将来时是“立足过去,着眼未来”的一种时态, 常用于宾语从句中。Compare present future and past future.3. would do表预测。Last year, hundreds of people spent good money on an experience that they knew would include crowds, discomfort and danger. Write the clauses in the correct order and complete the memoir.教师带领学生在具体语境中进一步理解过去将来时的意义,掌握用法。 第一步:学生独立阅读文段,理解语境,掌握大意。第二步:学生根据文段的意义,独立将四个打乱词序的句子按正确词序排列,并填入文段相应位置,使文段语句通顺、意思完整。 2.
