课件网) Unit 2 1.Hello, everyone. 大家好。 everyone= everybody，是不定代词，意为“大家；每人”。everyone强调的是整体，作主语时谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式。在一般现在时中，当主语是第三人称单数时，谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式。以be动词为例，be动词的形式须和主语在人称和数上保持一致。即第一人称I，后面的be动词用am；第三人称he/she/it，后面的be动词用is；第一人称复数we，第二人称you，第三人称复数they，后面的be动词都用are。例如： Everyone/ Everybody is in the classroom. 每个人都在教室里。 2.Beijing is the capital of China. 北京是中国的首都。 capital在此作名词，意为“首都；省会”。“the capital of…”表示“……的首都/省会”。例如： The capital of Guangdong Province is Guangzhou.广东省的省会是广州。 3.Wang Hui is my friend, but he is not in my class. 王辉是我的朋友，但是他不在我的班里。 本句是but连接的并列句，but在此作连词，意为“但是，然而”，连接两个并列成分，表示转折关系。表示并列或递进关系要用and。例如： My brother likes apples, but I don’t.
