课件网) 过去进行时 Past Continuous Tense 一、定义与结构 二、常见时间状语 三、句型转换 四、拓展补充 目录 一、一般过去时的定义与结构 铁板烧 大雄 过去进行时，表示过去某一时刻或某一段时间内正在发生或进行的动作。（在英语时态中，“时”指动作发生的时间，“态”指动作的样子和状态） 过去进行时的结构： 主 + was / were + doing（现在分词） was → am, is 过去式 were → are 过去式 e.g. You were taking the Chinese exam this time yesterday. 2、表过去的时间段： 1) from 一个过去时间 to 另一个过去时间： 如from 8:00 to 14:00 yesterday, from 1988 to 2000 2) 其他过去时间段，如all day yesterday, the whole morning = all the morning 二、一般过去时常见时间状语 注意：有些过去时间标志有时用作时间点，有时用作时间段，如then, at that time 1、表过去的时间点： 1) 具体时刻+过去时间：如5 o’clock yesterday, 9 o’clock last night 2) this time+过去时间：如this time last year, at this time in 2022 3) 其他过去时间点 铁板烧 大雄 3、when和while引导的时间状语从句 1) 有引导词的那句为从句，剩下那句为主句。 2) when(当……的时候)既可以指时间段，也可指时间点。动作既可和主句的动作同时发生，又可在主句的动作之前或之后发生。 When the teacher came in, we were talking.(一般过去） = We were talking when the teacher came in. When she was reading, the teacher came in.(过去进行) = The teacher came in when she was reading. 3) while(当正在……的时候)引导的从句的谓语动作必须是延续性的，并强调主句和从句的动作同时发生。 He arrived at home while I was cooking. = While I was cooking, he arrived at home. 二、一般过去时常见时间状语 铁板烧 大雄 3、when和while引导的时间状语从句(好记版) 1) 有引导词的那句为从句，剩下那句为主句 2) when比while的用法范围广，这点可类比宾语从句引导词中whether比if用法范围广 3) 目前考试习惯，关于这两个词引导过去时间状语从句的考查，when大多+一般过去时，while+过去进行时 二、一般过去时常见时间状语 否定形式： was/were + not + doing e.g. He wasn't sleeping at that time. 肯定形式： 主语 + was / were + doing e.g. He was sleeping at that time. 一般疑问句： Was / Were + 主语 + doing？ e.g. Was he sleeping at that time 三、句型转换：否定句、疑问句 which: 哪一个 when: 问时间 where: 问地点 who: 谁（主格） whom: 谁（宾格） whose: 谁的 why: 问原因 how: 怎么样 how many, how much, how old, how long… what: 什么 what time, what color等以what开头 所有时态特殊疑问句的结构都是: 特殊疑问词+这个时态的一般疑问句结构 三、句型转换：否定句、疑问句 铁板烧 大雄 1.
