Show a picture of the boy Tom and Tom's room. 2. Introduce the things in the room. 3. Learn the new words: radio, tape, tape player. 4. Make sentences with the new words. (I can see..., and it's/they're in/on/under...) Step 2 Pre-listening 1. 1a Match the words with the pictures. Check the answers: A is the radio... 2. Pair work T: Is Tom's room tidy Students: No, it isn't. T: So it is not easy for Tom to find his things in his room. Look at Tom, he is looking for something. “I need the pencils. Where are they ” This is Helen, Tom’s sister, who is offering to help. “Hmm, are they on the table ” “Uh...No, they aren’t.
