Step3 Classification Classify these words (1) do doing (2) take taking (3) put putting Step4 Matching&Listening 1. Matching Match the activities with the places. He / She is doing… at / on / in…. They are doing… at / on / in…. 2. Listening ① Listen to 1C and finish the chart. ② Check the answers with the whole sentences (be+doing). Alice is shopping at the supermarket. Mike is playing basketball at school. Lisa is reading at the library. Step 5 Watching&Writing Watch some cartoons, catch what they are doing in the videos, try to make the sentences as many as you can. Tom is playing the violin in the bedroom. Tom is closing the doors. They are shooting. The King is sleeping in the bedroom. Tom is shouting. Step 6 Reading 1. Let’s read a story! Read the story and underline the present continuous tense. 2. The best story teller. Step 7 Homework With the four pictures, you can write a short story using the present continuous tense.
