Unit 9 Human biology 教案设计 Writing板块教学设计 (建议时长40–45分钟,教师可根据教学实际酌情调整。) 课型 Writing 主题语境 人与社会———克隆技术、流行疾病 内容分析 本部分主要内容为概要写作。概要写作的内容是关于流行病的介绍,其中包括流行病的定义以及常见的流行疾病。通过概要写作内容的学习,学生能够掌握基本的概括缩写的能力,把握文章核心内容,学会区分重点内容和细节信息。通过流行病内容的再学习,丰富对于流行病内容的了解。 教学目标 1. 通过本单元的学习,学会概括缩写文本内容; 2. 运用本单元所学的方法,缩写语段; 3. 进行自我反思,评估学习效果,调整学习策略,提高学习效率。 教学重点 引导学生自主概括总结概要写作的方法; 2. 引导学生判断细节信息和关键信息。 教学难点 1. 引导学生在小组内合理分工,充分发表自己的观点并记录他人观点。 2. 引导学生养成自我评价的好习惯。 教学策略 元认知策略、认知策略、交际策略和情感策略 Teaching contents Procedures Purposes Teacher’s activity Students’ activity Activity 1 T leads Ss to review what they have learned in the last period. Ss talk about what they have learned about cloning in the last period. Brainstorm and prepare for the presentation. Activity 2 1. T asks Ss how would they write a summary for the text “To Clone or Not to Clone”. 1. Ss speak out their methods of summarizing the text. Let Ss say out their methods of summarizing. Activity 3 T lets Ss read the text “Epidemic Explained” and decide the main idea of each paragraph. T asks Ss to conclude the skills of summarizing. Ss read the passage again and choose the main idea of each part. 2. Ss read the passage and conclude the skills of summarizing. Practise skills of summarizing by reading the passage they have learned. Activity 4 T guides Ss to write a summary of the passage “To Clone or Not to Clone” by using the skills they have concluded. Ss read the passage and write a summary of the passage by using the skills they have just concluded. Consolidate the skills they have concluded. Activity 5 T asks Ss to make a summary of what they have learned about summarizing. Ss review what they have learned. Review what they have learned in this period. Self- evaluation T asks Ss to check the things they did in this lesson. Ss do the self-evaluation. Let students’ self-evaluation become the driving force to motivate them to move forward. Students’ self-assessment can improve their learning enthusiasm and improve their learning. A层: 1.write a summary for the text “To Clone or Not to Clone ”; 2.
