Presentation (10 mins) 1. T guides Ss to review what has been learnt with a mind map, and introduces the aims of the lesson. 2. T leads Ss to review the reading text. 3.T introduces the definition of the three kinds of long sentences to Ss. 4.T guides Ss to read the sentences taken from the reading text carefully and then identify the types of these sentences. Step II. Practice (10 mins) 1.T guides Ss to work in pairs, take turns to act as a high school student and a career planning expert, and complete dialogues by combining short sentences properly. 提问: 2.T analyses the relationship between sentences and introduces possible means of combining sentences. 3.
