Why ● By learning this passage,it helps students to be clear about the structure of an argumentative writing and the reasons why many adaptations fail with both cinema audiences and critics. ● By learning this passage,it helps students to realize the benefits of reading books and watching movies,which improves their critical thinking abilities How ● The passage is argumentative writing.The author introduces the general background information about adapted films in paragraph 1;then introduces the source materials for adapted films and raise the questions for the following contents in paragraph 2;next analyze the reasons (answers)to the questions raised in previous paragraph from four aspects to support the authors opinion,at last,the author summarizes his opinions and realities on adapted films ● The structure of the passage is very clear and the plot is logical,which makes the readers understand the author's opin ... ...
