Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. Welcome to my class. Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too. 2. Song. T: Boys and girls. Let’s enjoy a song together. The More We Get Together. (Sing and dance.) T: What have you heard in this song Ss: Get together. Happy. Friends. T: Yes, that’s it. This song is about friends. Look, friend. And here, friends. “ds” /dz/ 3. Title. T: Today we will continue to talk about our friends. We are going to learn-- Unit 8 My Friends Part A. Ss: Unit 8 My Friends Part A. 3. Evaluation. (Ppt shows a photo of the boys in the class.) T: Boys! You are my friends. Wow. This boy is for you. (Stick a drawing of a cute boy to the blackboard for boys’ group. Then ppt shows another photo of the girls. ) T: Girls! You are also my friends. The girl is for you. (Stick a drawing of a cute girl to the blackboard for girls’ group.) T: Ok, now, boys and girls, we will have a competition. Let’s play a game. If you do a good job, I’ll give you some tips. Are you ready Ss: Yes! Step 2 Review & Presentation 1.Games. 1) Review BE T: The game is -- about “be”. Am, is, are. You should stand up, and call it out. OK I – am. Stand up and say. (Explain the rules with the actions as well as an example.) Ss: He is, she is, they are, it is, we are, you are, Sally is... T: Look! Sally is …. Ss: …riding a bike. T: She … Ss: She is swimming. (Ppt shows the underlined double m.) T: What are they doing . Ss: They are making dumplings. ( Stick pictures to the blackboard as evaluation.) 2) Review ING Part I Sight & Memory Game ①T: The game is getting much harder. Look at the pictures carefully and answer my questions. See here! What are they doing (Three pictures flash in turn quickly. The students should watch carefully and try to remember them.) T: Ok. Stop here. What is Sally doing Ss hand up. S1: Sally is skating.
