Leading-in free talk: ask Ss “What do you usually do at the weekend ” Let Ss brainstorm and give some expressions. Then ask “What can we do at the weekend ” to practice the new phrases. Then ask “What are you going to do this weekend ” to lead out the structure. Step 2. Free-talk Practice the sentence patterns in pairs. Step 3.
