Starting out      Study of the Text                          What: It presents an overview of the amazing world of plants and invites students to consider many benefits of plants. Purpose To engage students in observing and describing the scene depicted in the picture, focusing on the use of vocabulary related to plants. 2.To use the simple future tense to talk about the benifits of plants. 3.To describe the im-portance of plants. Step 2 Discussion 1.Show a series of pictures, depicting various plants that benefit humans and the environment. 2.Ask students to answer questions about what plants can do for us and how they might benefit us in the future. Assess whether students can articulate the significance of plants in their presentations and discussions. Purpose To deepen students’ understanding of the role and importance of plants, and to make them practise using the simple future tense to discuss plants’ benefits. Homework Required: Copy and practise phrases related to plants and their benefits, and focus on correct vocabulary and sentence structures.
