Teaching and learning procedure: Step 1 Review Activity 1 Review Check the answers to the exercises in reference book. Step 2 Listening Activity 2 Pre-listening 1. Introduce the teaching and learning contents and objectives of this period. 2. Get the students to talk about the apps they often use in their daily life and what they use them for. Activity 3 While-listening 1. Listen to Laura and Xiao Bo’s conversation and find out what apps they want. Answers: exercise; rich; grades 2. Listen to the conversation again. Decide whether the statements are true (T) or false (F). Answers: 1. F 2. T 3. F 4. T 3. Listen once more and tick the sentences you hear. Underline the words used to express predictions, guesses and beliefs.
