Teaching steps Step1 ⅠLeading 1.Greeting T: Good morning boys and girls! How are you guys! Ss: We are fine! And you T: I’m fine too! Then how about your school life Ss:Great! T: Good boys! So let us come to our new lesson, and enjoy our school life! Purpose: to active the class. 2.Showing the teaching objectives T: Now, let’s learn about the teaching objectives. (make students read new words together) Purpose: to have a good understanding of the content. Ⅱ Presentation 1.Learning the new words by guessing T:Present a sentence describe with Chinese, like“我跑的很快!”,and let students guess its meaning Ss: 卡车! T:How to speak “卡车”in English then Ss: lorry! T: Anything else Ss: truck! T: Well done!(showing the new words with phonetic symbol after guessing) Purpose:to attract the students and active the class. 2.look and say T: Next, let’s play a game. When I show the pictures, you speak out the words,let see who is fastest! Are you ready! Ss: Yes! Purpose: to review the words. 3.complete part A 4.Checking the answers. 5.read the words together, and try to remember. Purpose:(3—5): from learning to use Ⅲ Distinguishing British English and American English 1.Game time! 游戏名:《你说一,我说一》 道具:一个盒子 规则:拿到盒子的人说出一个单词,接到盒子的人说出这个词是属于“British English” 或者 “American English”. 用“B”来代表“British English” ,用“A”表示“American English”。 Purpose: active the class and practice. 2.look and write Look at the pictures and write down its expressing with British English and American English. 3.let two students enjoy their answers. 4.Read and find(在句子中找出刚才所出现的单词) T: present the sentences underlined and let students find out the words students have learned: 1. I’m going to buy a toy eraser for my cousin. 2. I'd like to buy some cookie. 3. I want to see a film. 4. School football team will practise this Saturday. 5. We have an important match this fall.
