Before getting aboard a flight to my destination, I applied to the embassy for a visa , bought the plane ticket, printed my boarding pass in advance . Based on reviews, I booked accommodation in a central and inexpensive hotel chain, checked in online and arranged transfer from the airport to the hotel. Then I made a budget and exchanged some foreign currency. This time I would carry both a credit card and A$ in cash. One last thing I had to do was pack luggage. Driving a rented vehicle and following a route that runs from western to eastern Australia, I had the chance to admire incredibly dramatic landscape lining the route. I met with some indigenous animals such as kangaroos and crocodiles. I also engaged in some risky activities, such as going hiking to a remote dead volcano. At last I reached Sydney, where I watched a wonderful soccer match, ate masses of gravy in a café, bought many souvenirs in a gallery. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure make a dramatic impact on my career. I was determined to quit my previous job as a chef and chose a different profession. At present, I’m a full-time photographer, taking every opportunity to travel in quest of whales jumping out of the water, surfers catching the waves, and rising or setting sun. I’m also a tourism blogger, posting pictures on my blog, which followers make comments about .
