Suggested answers: breakfast time without breakfast feed reading, writing and math concentration and behavior Then, Ss are asked to talk about their opinions about the club, and discuss its pros and cons. 通过多媒体视频展示英国真实的校园俱乐部,目的是对学生的视觉和听觉作一个冲撞,吸引学生的注意力,激发起好奇心,并引出今天的主题。 8’ CW/IW Step 2 Discuss in pairs: Ss are going to learn some ideas and expressions on talking about plans to start a new school club. T could provide some names and pictures of various clubs for students to pick. Then, for making the name attractive or unique, T plays a short video to introduce some western names. While leading Ss to expand their ideas, T teaches some sentence patterns to improve oral expression. 通过课本上的提示和课件的图片补充增加学生的知识储备,播放微课,引入不同的社团名字,提高学生兴趣。 6’ CW/GW Step 3 Review and brainstorm: Ss are asked to conclude the definition and key elements of a proposal, combine the mind map drew in last lesson with new knowledge, and make up their mind. 学生回顾上节课所学知识,新旧结合,头脑风暴,确定自己的建议书想法。 6’ IW Step 4 Write a proposal: Learning about the text type: T plays a short video to introduce two types of proposal in 1 minute. Learning about the structure Review the contents from former lessons and sum them up. Learning about the language T provides sentence pattern and possible phrases to improve Ss’ writing skills and language points. Finally, Ss are asked to imitate the passage in part B, write a proposal for their own clubs, and check their writing.
