
Unit 1 Back to School Extended Reading 教案 教材分析: 本课时主要包含一篇延伸阅读材料,主要讲述了作者在英国求学期间的学校生活,文章从很多方面描写了英国的学校生活,包括班级规模、学校时间表、午餐安排、科目设置以及作业布置等等。文章为我们展现了真实的英国学校生活,学生在阅读了文章之后,能够认识到中国的学校生活与英国的学校生活的异同。 教学策略与设计说明: 采用任务型教学法(Task-based language teaching),布置活动任务,设置活动目的,引导学生完成相关任务,达成各个教学步骤的设计目的。 教学目标: 在本课时学习结束时,学生能够: 语言能力上,习得重点词汇,如exchange, alarm, contribution等等;习得重点句型,如it’s + adj. + for sb. to do sth. 思维品质上,梳理文章的发展方向,归纳文章的主旨大意,整理英国校园生活涉及到的各个方面的信息。 文化品格上,梳理如何进行中英两国校园生活的比较,进一步了解不同国家间的文化差异。 学习能力上,养成读前预测的习惯,灵活结合泛读与精读的策略,提升阅读理解的能力。 教学重点: 1.学生通过阅读文章,获取关于英国校园生活的各个方面的信息。 2.学生在获取信息的基础上,学会比对中英两国校园生活的相似点与不同之处。 教学难点: 学生能应用本课时句型与单词,熟练顺畅地进行采访的角色扮演活动。 针对采访场景的问题,能根据具体情况和要求提供可取的回答。 教学资源: 教材、多媒体课件、黑板与粉笔。 教学过程: 步骤 教学活动 设计意图 时间与模式 Step 1 Lead-in: Ss are asked to watch a video which mainly talks about school life in the UK. After finish the video, T asks student what is school life in the UK like in this video. Suggested answers; Students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss their work. Classes are smaller, students are set, so teachers can teach to students’ ability. Teachers don’t show students practical methods usually. 利用视频,激发学生的兴趣,吸引学生的注意力,引出主题。 5 mins CW Step 2 Fast reading: T gives the definition of skimming, and procedures of skimming. After that, T asks the main idea of this text, which is in the title. Lastly, T presents the matching of the main idea of each paragraph and asks Ss to do the matching. 讲解阅读技巧,帮助学生养成阅读方法,帮助学生找出文章主旨大意,更好地理解文本。 5mins CW / IW Step 3 Detailed reading: Ss are taught how to draw a mind map through procedures and examples. Ss are asked to find out the detailed information about school life in the UK. Ss are required to draw a mind map about school life in the UK according to the information they have got. Ss learn to compare school life in China and in the UK in a table. 第二遍精读,学生寻找更多的细节信息,并将整理好的信息制作成思维导图,在此基础上,学生能够意识到中英两国学校生活的异同。 12mins CW / GW / IW Step 4 Expressions: Ss are asked to learn some important words, phrases and sentence. Fortunately; Contribution; Option; Technology; 引导学生学习重要的词汇,短语和句型,增加学生的语言输入。 5mins CW / IW Step 5 Discussion: Ss are divided into several groups and they are required to have a group discussion about the following questions.
