Activity 1 Share The teacher welcomes the students and asks students what they know about Lao She, Teahouse or Lao She Teahouse. Then students share what they have learnt. In the end, the teacher asks students to tell the relationship between Lao She, Teahouse and Lao She Teahouse. Activity 2 Read and match the headings with paragraphs Students read the passage quickly and get the main idea of each part. Activity 3 Think and answer Students share something new that they have learnt from the passage without reading the book again and guess who will probably visit Lao She Teahouse. The teacher observes what students have learnt about today’s passage and who is willing to share.
