Students can understand and retell the plot development of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Difficult Point 1. Students can use the past continuous tense to describe another situation. 教学过程 一、Lead in. Show a video:What were students doing at six yesterday evening 2.Ask and answer: What were they doing at six yesterday evening 二、Before Listening. Ask and answer:What were they doing at six yesterday evening -...was/were doing... 三、While listening. 1. Listen and answer: Who was reading a book and what’s the name of the book. 2.Learn new words: Guide students to think how Alice got into the wonderland (followed, fell down, hole) 四、Careful reading. 1. Listen and choose:Choose the main characters you hear in this story. (Answers:Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the March Hare, the Mad Hatter,the Queen of Hearts) Listen and match: ①Match the events of characters. (Answers: Alice-sit with her sister; the white rabbit-run; the Cheshire cat-sit in the tree and smile; the March Hare and the Md Hatter-have a tea party; the Queen of Hearts-play a strange game) ②Read and finish the tables:use the past continuous tense(...was/were doing...) Retell the story: ①Once up a time, there was a girl called Alice.One day...First,... Then,... Finally...
