状语从句 状语从句中在复合句中作状语。根据句子的含义,可表示时间,地点,原因,目的,结果,条件,行为方式,比较,让步等。 时间状语从句: 1.When,while,as区别 相同 表示当。。。时候,主句为短暂性动作,从句为延续性动作 I met Laura when/while/as I was walking along the street. 不同 When+非延续性动词及延续性动词 While常与延续性动词或表示状态的动词连用,“与。。。同时” While my wife was reading the book I was watching TV. As表示“一边。。。一边。。。”随着。。。 He sang as he walked along. 2.表示一。。。就。。。短语类:as soon as scarcely…when hardly…when no sooner…than 名词类:the moment the minute the instant 副词类:immediately instantly directly Time类:every time next time by the time each time 3.scarcely…when hardly…when no sooner…than用法: 搭配 时态:主过完had done从过did 语序:位于句首时,后面要部分倒装(主倒从不倒,即把had提到主语之前) (二)条件状语从句 1.定义:在时间状语从句、条件状语从句中,主句表将来含义,从句一般现在时 2.连接词:if, unless,(除非)in case(万一),so/as long as(只要),on condition that(在。。。条件下), supposing/suppose/provided/providing/given,(that)(假定,假设)once(一旦);save that (只有。。。,除了。。。) (三)让步状语从句 1.连接词:as (倒装),though(可倒可不倒),although(不倒装),while(尽管)用于句首 例如:Although/Though he works hard, he makes little progress. Hard though/as he works, he makes little progress. 2.No matter+疑问词和疑问词+ever用法区别:都可引导让步状语从句,但只能用疑问句+ever引导名词性从句 例如:I believe whatever he said. (四)结果状语从句 1.So…that, such…that 例如:He is so clever that everyone likes him. He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him. So+adj./adv. Such+a/an+adj.+n.=so+adj.+a/an+n.
