Baseball also builds team spirit(团队精神). All of us are good friends, both on and off the field. We work as a team, and we win or lose as a team. Healthy Body, Healthy Mind We all know exercise(锻炼) is important, yet we don't always want to do it! Often we are too busy(忙碌的) or feel lazy(懒惰的). We should try our best(最好的) to exercise every day. Exercise is good for our body(身体). When we exercise, our body changes(改变). Exercise develops(发展;增强) our muscles(肌肉) and makes us stronger(更强壮的). When we exercise, we use energy(能量). This helps keep our weight(体重) down. Being overweight(超重的) puts stress(压力) on our body. It can cause pain(疼痛) in our back and knees(膝盖), and even cause more serious problems(问题) such as heart disease(心脏病) later in life. Exercise is also great for our brain(大脑). During exercise, our heart(心脏) beats faster and we breathe(呼吸) harder. Our brain gets more oxygen(氧气) because of this, and that helps our memory(记忆力) improve. Scientists also tell us the body makes more of certain chemicals(化学物质) after exercise. This helps us to learn(学习) and think(思考) well. So, when you have trouble(困难) with your homework, do some exercise, then try again! Exercise also helps us to feel happier(更开心的). When we exercise, our brain makes special chemicals(化学物质). These chemicals can relax(放松) our body and calm(使平静) our mind. Feeling fit(健康的) can also make us feel better and more confident(自信的) about ourselves. When we play a sport with others, we can even make new friends(朋友). Remember: Health is wealth(财富). The more you exercise, the healthier(更健康的) you become. Try to make exercise a part of your life.
