    热考主题突破 一、个人成长类 个人成长类故事通常描述的是青少年在成长或学习过程中遇到比赛、表演、演讲等各种赛事或活动,因信心不足而出现害怕、恐惧、自我怀疑等情绪,要求续写如何克服消极情绪,直面困难与挑战,最终取得成功。 近几年高考中考查过此类故事的有: 1.2023年新课标卷讲了母语非英语的“我”参加英语写作比赛(续写重点:比赛后的获奖情况以及对老师感恩的细节描述) 2.2022年新课标卷讲了David因害怕被嘲笑而对参加跑步比赛没有信心。(续写重点:在作者的开导下决定完成比赛的心理斗争以及比赛过程中如何克服困难、凭借坚强的毅力完成比赛) 考生设计此类故事的续写情节时,要注意对主人公动作行为及心理变化的细节刻画。 挑战自我型故事模型通常为: 典例剖析 (2023·新课标Ⅰ & Ⅱ) When I was in middle school,my social studies teacher asked me to enter a writing contest.I said no without thinking.I did not love writing.My family came from Brazil,so English was only my second language.Writing was so difficult and painful for me that my teacher had allowed me to present my paper on the sinking of the Titanic by acting out a play,where I played all the parts.No one laughed harder than he did. What did the horse think,as he sped through the night Did he get tired Have doubts Did he want to quit I sympathized immediately.I got tired.I had doubts.I wanted to quit.But,like Revere’s horse,I kept going.I worked hard.I checked my spelling.I asked my older sister to correct my grammar.I checked out a half dozen books on Paul Revere from the library.I even read a few of them. When I handed in the essay to my teacher,he read it,laughed out loud,and said,“Great.Now,write it again.” I wrote it again,and again and again.When I finally finished it,the thought of winning had given way to the enjoyment of writing.If I didn’t win,I wouldn’t care. 注意:续写词数应为150个左右。 A few weeks later,when I almost forgot the contest,there came the news.
