After learning this lesson, students are supposed to understand the great sacrifice an athlete will make and the reasons why she could become an Olympic champion. How: when learning this lesson, students need to analyze the structure of the passage. Besides, they will practice reading strategies such as reading for detailed information,deep understanding the passage and figuring out the difficulties as well as the reasons. Why: Through learning, students could foster the awareness that success is not achieved easily but by great tolerance,overdo and push. Meanwhile, they can get to know the great qualities of an great athlete. 学情分析 This class is taught to senior high school students in Hefei No. 4 High School. Some of the students may lack a solid base in English learning. Some students are familiar with the topics of success, especially after learning lesson 1 and lesson2.
