人教版必修二第四单元 HISTORY AND TRADITIONS Lesson Four Discovering Useful Structures 教学设计 主题情境:Express feelings and describe situations 活动主题:Discover Useful Structures — the past participles as the Attribute and the Object Complement 授课时长:20mins 文本分析: 该板块的活动主题为“表达情感和描述情景”(Express your feelings and describe situations)。 同学 们通过观察、分析与归纳总结,掌握过去分词作定语和宾语补足语的用法,并运用这一结构表达情感 及描述情景。 活动 1 是阅读文本中出现的三个以过去分词结构生动细致描述事物、情景及个人情感句子,学生 可以通过观察和讨论归纳过去分词做定语和宾补的使用规则。活动 2 通过词块扩展及对比,呈现过去 分词作定语的2 种类型:前置和后置定语,让学生在完成活动的过程中体会其用法和差异。活动 3 和 4 是在学生初步了解过去分词做定语和宾补的形式和基础上,为他们提供与单元主题较为相关的情形, 让学生进一步熟悉其形式,体会其意义和功能。学生在学习语法的过程中同时获取相关的文化信息, 并初步内化语法结构和熟练活动主题。 教学目标: 通过本课时的学习,学生能够: 1.观察和归纳总结过去分词作定语和宾补的规则和用法。 2.在与主题相关的语境中运用过去分词作定语或宾补来表达情感和描述情景。 教学难点: 1.过去分词作定语和宾补的运用。 2.如何区分过去分词充当定语还是宾补。 教学过程: Procedure Activities Purposes Learning objectives T presents learning objectives: To identify and conclude the functions of the past participles. To express feelings and describe situations by using the past participles as the Attribute and Object Complement. To let Ss get a general idea of the learning objectives ofthe class. Task1 Ss find out the past participles in the To get Ss to find out how the Find out the rule of past participles used as attribute sentences and discuss in pairs their functions. (p42 Task 1) Ss find out the rules of the past participles used as the Attribute. T gives more examples to help Ss become more aware of the rules. past participles are used as the Attribute properly in a sentence. Task 2 Practice Ss practise by expanding the past participle chunks. T makes conclusions and gives more examples.(p42 Task 2) To help Ss understand how the past participles can be used properly. Task 3 Apply the rule Ss do exercises on WB p80 Ex 1. Ss discuss in groups and find out the participles and rewrite sentences.(p42 Task 4) T leads Ss to use those sentences to make a logical little story. To help Ss practise how to use the past participles as the Attribute and apply them to make a relevant story of the UK to express feelings and describe situations. Task 4 Find out the rule of the past participles used as the Object Complement Ss observe the sentences chosen from the text (p42 Task1 the 3rd sentence and more examples on the PPT) and find out the rules of the past participles as the Object Complement. T gets Ss to know about the specific verbs to make the past participles as the Object Complement.
