I’m afraid (that) he can’t come． 恐怕他不能来了。 2. I’m so pleased (that) you will come tomorrow. 我很高兴明天你来。 3. I’m sure (that) we’ll find each other. 4. It’s true (that) scientists haven’t discovered life on other plants in the universe. 结构二、主句为由“连系动词＋形容词”构成的“系表”结构，常接that引导的宾语从句。这类形容词多表示感情，如afraid, pleased, sure, happy, glad, sad, 等等。 1. I’m sure of (that) he can’t come． 恐怕他不能来了。 2. I worried about (that) he can’t come. 一、当主句是一般现在时时， 宾语从句可以 根据实际情况采用任何时态。如： 1. He says (that) they have returned already. 他说他们已经回来了。 2.
