Unit 4 What can you do 第一课时：A Talk & Learn（The talent show） （一）教材分析 本课时是人教 PEP 版五年级上册 Unit 4 What can you do 的第一课时，是 A 部分对话和单词的融合课。课文对话的文本以“party”话题为载体，围绕准备 party 活动展开本单元的主句型“What can you do ”的学习。五年级学生已经掌握一些关于技能类词汇，如：sing, dance, draw pictures, play the pipa 等，能比较容易利用已知习得新语言。因此，所有教学活动应为学生创设语境，让学生能够在交际活动中灵活运用句型，达到语用目的。 （二）学情分析 本节课的授课对象是五年级的学生。在知识结构上，学生们通过之前的学习已积累了部分关于个人技能的一些语言表达能力，如：I can sing.等；在学习风格上，学生们对英语学习比较感兴趣，课堂上能够积极举手发言，具有一定的思维能力和逻辑能力。 （三）教学目标 通过学习本课时，学生能够 1. 在听、说、认、读的活动中，掌握单词 dance, sing English songs,Unit 4 What can you do 第一课时：A Talk & Learn（The talent show）do kung fu, draw pictures, play the pipa.的词形和意义，了解对话大意，了解中国琵琶、武术等有中国特色的文娱活动，并能运用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。（学习理解） 2. 在教师的帮助下，分角色、分层次表演对话内容，并能根据思维导图复述教材人物为英语派对表演的文娱节目；（应用实践） 3. 在实际情境中运用句型 What can you do I can...询问并回答他人能做某事，并进行整理归纳，根据语言框架描述调查报告。（应用实践） （四）教学重难点 1. 教学重点：掌握本课时的核心词汇和核心句型，学生能够在应用实践中运用本节课所学句型去询问并回答他人能做某事，了解丰富多彩的课余生活。 2. 教学难点：能够按照正确的语音、语调朗读对话并进行角色扮演。 【核心词汇】 dance, sing English songs, do kung fu, draw pictures, play the pipa, wonderful, Tuesday 【核心句型】 We’ll have an English party next Tuesday!
