(第三课时) 一、教材分析 1. 教学内容 本课时系教材《英语1 (基础模块) 》第四单元的第三课时,授课内容为课本Reading and Writing和Unit Task部分,具体包括:一封电子邮件邀请信,根据邀请信辨别人物身份和填 写聚会备忘录的读写训练,以及为本月生日的同学筹备生日聚会。 本课内容承接前一课时关于生日聚会的话题,要求学生能够了解并实施生日聚会的筹备工 作,是本单元Reading and Speaking部分内容的拓展和深化。同时,本课时的教学内容为学 生完成单元任务———运用所学语言设计并组织生日聚会提供了具体的操作方案。 2. 教学重点、难点 1) 教学重点 学生准确地提取邀请信信息,并根据已知信息填写聚会备忘录 2) 教学难点 学生快速查找邀请信的细节信息并在备忘录中转述相关信息; 学生在较为真实的情景中筹备生日聚会并填写备忘录 二、教学目标 1. 知识目标 学生了解电子邮件的组成部分,以及邀请信应该包含的信息。 2. 能力目标 1) 学生能读懂邀请信; 2) 学生能根据不同目的,通过不同阅读方式获取邀请信的关键信息; 3) 学生能重新组织语言在备忘录中转述相关信息。 3. 情感目标 学生了解并体验聚会的设计和实施,学会团队合作。 三、教学步骤 Step One Lead-in. (8m) 1. Please give me some suggestions! (3m) Teacher says: “Next month I will have a birthday party in my house. I’d like to invite some friends and workmates to my party. But many of my friends are not in the same city as me. How can I invite them in a quick and convenient way ” Students may discuss first. Then teacher asks some of them to give their ideas. Teacher and students find the best way that costs no money — e-mails. (设计意图:该步骤通过教师生活中碰到的问题,自然地导入本课的教学内容—邀请 信。学生因为专业要求经常接触网络,能立刻想到电子邮件这一便捷的联系方式。) 2. Brainstorming. What information must be included in my e-mail (5m) Teacher says, “If I want my friends to understand my invitation clearly, what information must be included in it ” Then teacher draws a map on the blackboard and stimulates the students to have an active thinking. Students may discuss the question with partners, then they offer ideas together. Teacher writes down the tips on the blackboard as a reminder for the next activity. (3m) Teacher says, “OK, we are sure what must be included in the invitation. Here are three e-mails. I want you to help me find the one that has the correct pattern.” Then teacher offers three e-mails in which two of them have the wrong pattern.
