What’s your family doing We usually stay in when it snows, but now we’re building a snowman outside. the simple present tense the present continuous tense 一般现在时与现在进行时的区分 1. 一般现在时的用法及时间标志词 (1)表示经常性、习惯性或反复发生的动作,常与表示频率的时间状语连用: always, often, sometimes, every day, once a week, twice a week等。 e.g. I usually exercise from six fifteen to seven. 我通常从六点十五锻炼到七点。 (2)表示客观真理、客观存在或自然现象。 e.g. The earth moves around the sun. 地球绕着太阳转。 (3)表示现在的情况或状态。 e.g. I enjoy playing games with my friends. 我喜欢和我的朋友们一起玩游戏。 (4)一般现在时也可以表示主语具备的性格和能为等。 e.g. Colin’s father works hard. Colin的爸爸努力工作。 2. 现在进行时的用法及时间标志词 (1)表示说话人说话时正在进行的动作。常和表示现在进行的时间状语用:①now, right now; ②at present, at this time, at the/this moment 等；③these days;④when, while; ⑤Look!/Listen!等。 e.g. Someone is knocking at the door.
