What do you see Yes, they show people at Mount Huangshan. What are they doing They are either climbing or resting and sharing their feelings. Now, I want you to think about what they might say to each other. Let's discuss and come up with some possible conversations. After that, we will start our new lesson based on these conversations. 导入二 问题导入 Teacher: Boys and girls, have you ever climbed a mountain What kind of weather did you meet when climbing Let students answer with simple words like “sunny” or “rainy”. Teacher: Today, we will learn about some people's climbing experiences at Mount Huangshan and how the weather changed during their climbing. 导入三 经验导入 Teacher: I climbed a mountain last weekend. At first, it was sunny, but then it became foggy. It was hard to see the way. Have you ever had a similar experience or heard of such things Let a few students share their ideas. Teacher: Let's read about other people's mountain-climbing adventures at Mount Huangshan. 活动设计                          用韦恩图对比两个孩子爬山的经历 (一)导入 教师通过简单提问来引入话题:“We have learned about two children's mountain-climbing experiences. Can you remember some details about them ” 引导学生简单回顾两个孩子的爬山情况。 展示韦恩图的模板,并向学生简单介绍韦恩图的作用:“Today, we are going to use a Venn diagram to compare their experiences. A Venn diagram can help us see the similarities and differences clearly.” (二)小组合作 将学生分成 3—4 人一组。 每组发放一张大的白纸和彩笔,要求学生在纸上绘制韦恩图。 让学生阅读图片中的文字内容,分析两个孩子(Helen 和 Peter)爬山经历的相同点和不同点,并将其填写在韦恩图中。 相同点:都在爬黄山(Mount Huangshan),都提到了天气对爬山的影响等。 不同点:Helen 看到了美丽的云和阳光(saw amazing clouds and sunshine),心情愉快(had a great time);而 Peter 遇到了大雾(encountered the heavy fog),感觉很累(felt tired),鞋子也弄脏弄湿了(shoes were wet and dirty)。 (三)小组展示 每个小组选派一名代表,向全班展示他们绘制的韦恩图,并解释图中的内容。如: In the overlapping part, we wrote that both of them are climbing Mount Huangshan. In Helen's part, we wrote that she saw beautiful sunshine, but in Peter's part, we wrote that he was tired because of the foggy weather. 其他小组的同学认真倾听,并可以进行提问、补充或纠正。 教师对每个小组的表现进行点评,强调重点内容,如正确的分析方法和语言表达。 (四)拓展讨论 基于韦恩图的对比结果,教师提出一些拓展性问题供学生讨论,如: If you were climbing with Helen and Peter, what advice would you give them to make their climbing experiences better Which kind of mountain-climbing experience do you prefer, Helen's or Peter's Why 让学生在小组内进行讨论,每个小组形成一个统一的观点,并选派代表进行发言。 教师引导学生用英语清晰、有条理地表达自己的观点,并在讨论结束后进行总结和归纳。 阅读突破          ... ...
