(1) What is Amy’s neighbourhood like (2) How do Amy’s neighbours help others (3) What does Simon think of his neighbourhood Step 2 Read, view and describe Have students read the title and the instruction of this section, look at the four pictures on page 20 and answer the following questions. (1) Who are the people in the pictures (2) What are they doing in the pictures Step 3 Think and answer Have students think about something about their own community and answer the following questions. (1) What activities do you have in your community (2) How can you help your community Step 4 Read and answer 1. Have students read Lines 1-8 of the conversation and answer the following questions. (1) What does Simon think of his neighbours (2) Why does he think so (3) How do the volunteers help others 2. Have students read Lines 9-14 of the conversation and complete the table.
