Linking verb 系动词 5 sth + + adj tastes smells sounds feels looks Now find more sentences with this structure in the reading passage. 5 Grammar focus: Linking verb 系动词 英语动词中，有的动词后面接名词或代词等作宾语，有的可以单独作谓语，而有的则要接形容词或名词等作主语的补充成分。我们把后面接主语补充成分的动词成为系动词。 状态系动词 be动词(am,is,are,was,were) 持续系动词 keep,stay,remain(保持) 变化系动词 get,become,grow,turn,go(变得) 感官系动词 look(看起来), taste(尝起来), smell(闻起来), sound(听起来), feel(摸起来；感觉) 定义 Grammar focus: Linking verb 系动词 1.连系动词后面要接形容词，不能接副词。如： The milk goes bad.牛奶变质了。 2.除be动词以外的系动词，其否定形式和疑问形式的构成要借助助动词do、does或did。 肯定句 The dish tastes good.这道菜味道很好。 否定句 The dish doesn’t taste good.这道菜味道不好。 疑问句 Does the dish taste good？ 这道菜味道好吗？ 用法 were stay Put the words in the right basket. become is grow feel remain taste 变化系动词 状态系动词 感官系动词 持续系动词 1 smells / my grandma’s apple pie / great _____ 2 delicious / my sandwich / tastes _____ 3 the smell of coffee / strong / remained _____ My grandma’s apple pie smells great.
