/ 让学习更有效 新课备课备考 | 英语学科 / 让学习更有效 新课备课备考 | 英语学科 2025年外研版九年级英语上册精讲精练 Module 11 Photos 核心语法：定语从句 一、 什么是定语从句？ 定语： 用来修饰、限定名词或代词的成分，说明其特征、性质、所属等。通常由形容词、名词、介词短语等充当。 例如：a beautiful garden（一个美丽的花园） 例如：a stone bridge（一座石桥） 例如：the book on the desk（桌上的那本书） 定语从句： 当一个句子来充当定语时，就是定语从句。它直接跟在所修饰的名词或代词后面。 例如：The girl who is singing is my sister. （正在唱歌的那个女孩是我妹妹。） 核心名词：the girl（女孩） 定语从句：who is singing（正在唱歌的） 整个句子的意思是：“正在唱歌的” 这个句子修饰了 “女孩” ，告诉我们到底是哪个女孩。 被修饰的词叫先行词。上句中的 the girl 就是先行词。 引导定语从句的词叫关系词（包括关系代词和关系副词）。上句中的 who 就是关系代词。 二、 关系代词的用法 关系代词用来代替先行词，同时在定语从句中充当主语、宾语、定语等成分。 关系代词 指代对象 在从句中的作用 例句 that 人、物 主语 或 宾语（可省略） A plane is a machine that can fly. (作主语) The book (that) I bought yesterday is interesting. (作宾语，可省) which 物 主语 或 宾语（可省略） The book which is on the desk is mine. (作主语) The film (which) we saw last night was wonderful. (作宾语，可省) who 人 主语 The man who is talking with Mr. Li is my uncle. (作主语) whom 人 宾语（可省略，常用 who 代替） The boy (whom/who) you met is my friend. (作宾语) whose 人、物 定语（表示“...的”） This is the student whose father is a doctor. (指人) I live in a room whose window faces south. (指物) 特殊用法：只能用 that 的情况 先行词是不定代词时，如：all, everything, anything, nothing, little, much 等。 All that I have is yours. （我所有的一切都是你的。） 先行词被序数词或最高级修饰时。 This is the first book that I read. （这是我读的第一本书。） He is the tallest man that I have ever seen. （他是我见过最高的人。） 先行词同时包含人和物时。 They talked about the people and things that they remembered. （他们谈论着他们记得的人和事。） 三、 关系副词的用法 关系副词用来代替“介词+which”的结构，在定语从句中充当状语。 关系副词 代替结构 在从句中的作用 例句 when on/in/at + which 时间状语 I still remember the day when (=on which) I first came to this school. （我记得我第一次来学校的那天。） where in/at + which 地点状语 This is the house where (=in which) I was born. （这就是我出生的房子。） why for + which 原因状语 Could you tell me the reason why (=for which) you were late （你能告诉我你迟到的原因吗？） 四、 限制性定语从句 特点： 是先行词不可或缺的定语。如果去掉它，主句的意思就会不完整、不明确或不合理。 翻译： 通常翻译为“...的”。 结构： 主句和从句之间没有逗号隔开。 本讲义中所有例句都是限制性定语从句。 1．I like smooth music _____ helps me relax after a long week at work.
