2025--2026年高二北师版必修第三册英语 Unit 8--Unit9单元基础综合练习试卷【含答案无听力】 一、阅读单选(3题)(本大题共1小题) Escaping the city and getting back to nature is a great way to relax and recharge — there is nothing quite like sleeping in a treehouse. These new treehouses range from cosy to luxurious. Besides the well-known Bower Treehouse, we’ve found a few others in the UK. Gwdy Hw, Wales In the heart of the Welsh mountains, Gwdy Hw has six treehouses designed with the surrounding woodland in mind, so much so that they melt smoothly into the valley’s treeline. Each cosy treehouse features a wood-burning stove, a double bed, and a toilet. The only thing missing is electricity, so you can avoid using your digital devices and exchange electric lights for twinkling lanterns while reading comfortably under blankets. Netherby Estate, Cumbria Set in the grounds of the Netherby Estate, with views of the Scottish border, this cabin-like outpost(前哨基地) has been built among ancient oak trees. That makes it feel a little more well-built than other treehouses, but it’s a cosy nest, just the same, and is filled with home comforts. Kids will love the mezzanine level(夹层), accessed by a ladder, while adults will enjoy the outdoor hot bath. Treetops at the Fox & Hounds Country Hotel, Devon If you only saw the inside of this luxury space, you’d have trouble believing it was actually supported on stilts(桩子) and built around a tree. There’s a free-standing bathtub, for starters, as well as a living room with a sofa, a king-size bedroom and amazing wooden inner parts throughout. A private terrace(露台) overlooks the fishing lake, providing a true escape into nature. 1.If you want to take a break from social media, which treehouse should you consider A.Bower Treehouse. Can you figure out the following terms “I like your smile, but unlike you put your shoes on my face.” This is a way of saying “Keep off the grass” Or “people mountain, people sea”, which means “very crowded”. These examples are what we call Chinglish. When it comes to Chinglish, if all you know is “good good study, day day up”, you will be considered “out man”. Nowadays, more Chinglish words have been created, for example, a Chinese idiom is translated as “smilence”, a combination by the English word smile and silence. Chinglish usually offers a humorous look at misuses ... ...
