Cultural Awareness: Students can discover the unique aspects of their own school and others’ schools (e.g., facilities, daily activities), cultivate a sense of identity with their school, and express love for their school in English. 3. Thinking Quality: Students can enhance their analytical thinking by breaking down the e-mail content into key parts (places, locations, activities) and improve summarizing skills by extracting and organizing information from the reading passage. 4. Learning Ability: Students can use mind maps to brainstorm school-related topics and summarize key information; they can also improve reading skills (skimming, scanning) and connect reading to writing to express personal ideas.
