Write the pattern on the blackboard: -- How do you study English -- I study English by + V.-ing 3. Make Ss look at the pictures and try to answer. Make a list of their answers on the blackboard. Design Intent: To activate students' prior knowledge about English learning methods, introduce the key sentence pattern "by + V-ing" naturally, and arouse their interest in the topic.
