新人教版八年级上册英语Unit1 Happy Holiday Section A (2a-2f) 教学设计 教学目标 1.Students can accurately understand the descriptions of holiday activities in the dialogue and express themselves orally and in writing. 2.Understand the lifestyle during holidays in different regions, feel cultural diversity, and cultivate tolerance and appreciation for multiculturalism. 3.Improve logical thinking ability. 重点难点 Key points: Master the core sentence patterns for asking about and sharing holiday experiences. Difficult points: Flexibly use target language for natural and fluent communication. 教学策略 Taskbased Teaching Method 教学活动 Step 1 Lead-in Activity: Use multimedia to show interesting vacation photos . Then ask: “What do you usually do during vacations Did you have any interesting vacation stories to share ” Have students look at the photos, think, and share their own vacation experiences. Purpose: Attract students’ interest through visual materials (vacation photos), activate their background knowledge about vacation activities, and prepare them for understanding the upcoming dialogue. Step 2 Practice Activity: Play the dialogue recording and ask students to listen for the answer to “choose the correct sentences to complete the dialogue”. Play the recording a second time, guide students to check their answers, and explain difficult parts. Purpose: Help students develop listening comprehension skills by having them listen to the dialogue multiple times to answer questions and understand difficult points, laying a foundation for further text exploration. Step 3 Reading and Information Extraction Activity: Ask students to read the dialogue and fill in the table in 2b (recording Peter’s and Adam’s vacation destinations, activities, and feelings). Guide students to complete a summary based on the dialogue content. Circulate to check students’ work and provide guidance for any problems they encounter. Purpose: Improve students’ reading comprehension and information extraction skills by having them complete the table and summary based on the dialogue; address students’ difficulties through teacher guidance. Step 4 Language Use and Expansion Activity: Have students listen to the dialogue again, then conduct a roleplay (as in 2d). Ask students to finish Task 2e—tick the adjectives that describe their last summer vacation experience. Guide students to carry out the activity in 2f. Purpose: Provide students with opportunities to use the target language through interactive activities (roleplay, adjective selection, group activities), promoting their oral communication skills and the application of learned sentence patterns and vocabulary. Step 5 Summary and Homework Activity: Review the core sentence patterns and vocabulary learned in this lesson with students, and summarize key points.
