Have students read the title of the story in Part A1 on Page 15. Who is the story about 2. Have students read the whole story and answer the following questions. When did the story happen Where did the story happen What did the two friends do when they saw the bear How did the two friends feel before /after seeing the bear 3. Have students think further about the following questions. What do you think of the two friends What can you learn from the story Step 2 Listening 1. Have students read the introduction and the list of ways in Part B1. 2. Have students listen to the recording and finish Part B1, then check and correct the answers. 3. Lead students to Part B2 and explain the meaning of “get along with friends”, then ask the following question and give some listening tips. How many ways are mentioned Tip 1: Read the words in bold first. Tip 2: While listening, we needn’t catch every word. Instead(相反), we should focus on the key information we need. 4. Have students listen to the recording of B2 and check answers. 5. Have students finish Part B3 and check the answers, then analyse the structure of the passage and get the main idea of each part.
