The children are playing basketball. 表示正在进行的动作 当句中出现的表示时间的词是now, at the moment或者用look, listen提醒听者注意正在发生的事情时，表示句子要说明的是现在正在发生的事，动词应用现在进行时。 表示现阶段在做的动作 ① These days we are helping the farmers work on the farm. ② They're having a contest this week. ③ Miss Wang is visiting our company this month. 当句中出现的时间状语是these days, this week, this month, this term 等时，如果句子所要表达的意义是在这一阶段正在发生的事(虽然此刻动作不一定正在进行)，则动词应用现在进行时。 表示经常重复的动作 ① The man is always complaining about her work. ② The bosses are continually finding fault with my father. ③ Mr. Li is thinking of helping others all the time. 当现在进行时和always, all the time, forever, constantly, continually等连用时可以表达说话者的不满，厌恶，责备，惊奇，赞扬等情感。 表示即将发生的动作 ① What are you doing this weekend ② We are spending the Mid-autumn Festival in Sanya. ③ Are you meeting your coach tomorrow 当句子涉及确切的计划、明确的意图和为将来安排好的活动时，现在进行时可用来表将来，句中通常有表 ... ...
