Look and share. Have Ss look at the theme picture on the opening page and talk about the questions on Page 1. Then invite some Ss to share their opinions. Guide Ss to draw the conclusion: The family is on vacation together. 2. Free talk. Ask Ss what they did during their summer holidays. The teacher can use following questions as prompts to start the discussion: Did you travel to any places Did you learn any new skills Did you meet any interesting people or do any fun things Did you read good books or watch any great movies The teacher can invite some Ss to share their experiences and write their activities on the blackboard.
