Scientists aren't sure what these changes mean for biological systems. But many problems could come. One of them is called phonological mismatch. This happens when animals and plants respond (作出反应) differently to climate change. Animals and plants that depend on (依靠) each other can even lose their lives. For example, if a plant flowers before the pollinators arrive, both the plant and the pollinators might have trouble living.
